Nanokey 2 where is the editor???

Post by darquebus »

Just bought the nanokey 2 and the the kontrol editor is available on the website...great, but where? No links no nothing! And the editor I found (version 1.1) does not recognise the nanokey 2 (it shows only the older version)
Also it comes bundled with some software and says I can key in the licence number once I started the editor...but no editor no bundled software. What is going on? Where can I find the right editor? Whatever I google just gives me the ususal blabla 'can be downloaded from the website". Not really helpful Korg!

hm seems like no one knows the answer...is there a way of contacting Korg?
Otherwise i just take it back to the store and want my money back, as it is not working properly in my opinion... if you can't edit it you can't use it.

AFAIK they are not supposed to be available yet, which is why there is no software to download for it.

I recently called the KORG distributor in my country. They told me that KORG is a serious company and that there'll be a working editor :)

Which countries are you in by the way?

Because when I checked the nano2 series are not yet available in the US or the UK. Typically the only place they might be available before us is Japan or Italy.

I'm in the Netherlands. I ordered online.

I emailed the Korg-distributor in the Netherlands and asked if they know more about when the editor will see life. I'll post if they got news.

Btw: Is it possible to change subject of this thread to 'where is the nano series 2 editor' ?

I have also same problem.
Two weeks ago i bouth all nano series2, and... Surprice! :)

In korg web they wrote:

"Version 1.10 of the Korg Kontrol Editor now includes functionality for both the nanoSERIES and microKEY"

and

"All three nanoSERIES2 products can be further customized using the included Korg Kontrol Editor software"

Big minus for korg :((

The best results i can make is:

But if i try click, nothing happens

Thanks for that...the editor is working, but it does not accept the bundled software key I got with the product. So far this whole this is really not working properly. The editor is there but the bundled software just a hoax?
