For windows users do not download these so called self extracting rar and pics. Any file ending in .exe is a no no and a road to ruin maybe! Stay away from these pics and executable files.

lol-_- You are so genius! Yes this is the new generation virus it will eat your brain!
i just wrote that this is self extract. Just look for M3 sub forum and there are somebody who download and posted a comment http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=61312
btw
Most of my files in pc are ending by .exe so my computer is total ruin!
You should never post pics as .exe for example executable files. You are taking the piss with your smiley at the end of your line about self extracting rar files!
Post the pics in raw or .jpg
People stay away from .exe files from an unknown source!

Yes of course, there are more than 60 pics, so i will need to upload 60 files and give here 60 links.
Then probably every one need to download 60 pics
Use Your BRAIN!
I make .exe for two reasons.
First there are all pic together in one file
Second, there is selfextract so there is no need to have compatible rar extractor and no need to have any extractor.
I see You have "bit apple" and linux so i am soo sorry that You cant check that stuff, now i understand Your frustration
1. I downloaded and extracted all posted zip files. They're fine.
2. I didn't run the .exe. I was able to extract it using 7-zip fine. Right click on the file and select extract.
I agree. self extracting archives are nowadays quite pointless, and downloading an unknown executable is always risky, even if you've scanned it with your AV. And of course users of other OS like (in music quite commonly) Macs can't open it.
a simple .zip or .rar would suffice.
Selfextracting archives are a remnant from the days when you needed winzip or winrar or another program to open an archive and wasn't supported natively by the OS.

A more expanded copy of my comment over on the Kaoss forum: -
@didjeko Please bear in mind that a lot of people who drive midi synths and Kaoss Pads etc use Apple computers! A .exe file is useless to them!!!! Also posting .exe files is a well known way of introducing viruses to Window PC computers. There are a lot of windows PC's out there with no real virus protection! If you stick to plain rar or zip files that Apple Macs can cope with all well and good!
I was making a point!
Also look at my bottom tags!!!! I do not own a Microsoft Windows PC. I do not need to run antivirus software on my MacBook Pro or what I am running now, my Linux PC. I left Microsoft PCs a long time ago, but support friends who are always getting malware and viruses on their Windows PCs
Hardly a week goes by that I do not have to remove some malicious software, virus or malware from a friends Windows PC!!!!! Despite them running antivirus software!
My Linux PC runs in a closed environment just like a sandbox. Just a USB Flash Stick
