Ok i typed 'SugarSync' in the search field but nothing turned up. So here goes. SugarSync is giving away 5GB of cloud storage which is better than dropbox's 2GB. http://www.gottabemobile.com/2011/05/04 ... n-dropbox/
On top of that you get 500MB referral bonus when you sign up! Use my referral link below to get 5.5GB of free storage instead of 5GB!

Both of us get 500mb from your referral, or just you?
Couple of Q's, do the files you upload get their own URLs? Can you use it effectively as an FTP server and use the direct URLs (of files) for posting on Korg Forums or making websites, for example?
What is the monthly bandwidth limit on the free 5GB?

Skydrive is also pretty easy once you get the hang of where everything is. You can make files public and get their URL. Not sure if you could use it to host images that you can hotlink straight to KF though.
I think you get up to 20GB.
And virtually everyone has it without realising. Its part of Microsoft Windows Live (e.g. hotmail) services.

Both of us. You get 500MB for signing up. I get 500MB for you using my referral. You also get another 250MB for playing a 'game' which basically walks you through all the myriad ways SugarSync backs up your files like emailing to your own sugarsync specific email address to upload files, etc. Plus if you have an android phone, iphone, ipad, itouch, you can download the app for it and get another 250MB. By posting your referral link on say Facebook, or a forum thread you can get 500MB for every person who signs up for a free account using your referral link. If they sign up for a paid account, you get 10GB! Remember those 'alternate email addresses' you have lying around? They come in handy for registering yourself for even more storage for your 'primary' account (hehe).Timo wrote:Both of us get 500mb from your referral, or just you?

As to your questions about getting their own URLs, I don't know the answer. Like i said, you have a specific email address in SugarSync if you want to email your files to. I'm not sure about bandwidth either. Sorry Timo. I think its more of a cloud storage thing rather than say a 'photobucket' type thing? Here's the link to the Sugarsync site for more info.
