Korg R3 Cables

I am currently saving up for a Korg R3.

1. I have Sony MDR - XB700 with a normal 3.5mm jack

2. I have dell speakers that has as cable coming out with a 3.5 mm jack on the end. The is no other sockets on the back to plug cables into.

Is there a 3.5mm input on the Korg R3 or do i need more cables ? if so do you know which cables .. ?

That looks clear enough could you Reply with a sentence / diagram like

Korg -> Cable-> Cable -> headphones ?

Im not very good with wires

Korg-> 1/4' instrument cable -> 1/4' to 1/8' adapter -> computer's 1/8' input -> computer recording software -> Headphones/Headset

I live in the uk .. Are the cables different over here because i searched in amazon and there was nothing :S

Nope.... search for generics.

1/4' instrument cable

1/4' female to 1/8' male

USB type A male to type B male

that's a 1/8' female to 1/4' male, you need the opposite.

I recommend that you do NOT use the standard audio inputs on your computer and purchase an audion I/O box like the Maudio Fast Track Pro or similar. The reason is that the standard audio line input is not designed for professional audio/music production, usually has a large delay (latency) between the live audio and what you hear, and it lacks many useful features like level LEDs, gain control, powerful headphone amp, more inputs and outputs, mic inputs, phantom power for mics, and extra midi ports. If you buy an audio I/O box, you'll usually need different cables, so you'll save some money buying the wrong ones when you discover that the recording latency is too frustrating to use of the standard input.

Amazon has this great feature called search. Type in "Fast Track Pro". The only audio cables you would need with it are two instrument cables, 1/4" mono TS plug on each end. Yes, it is more expensive than buying a cable. That extra cost is worth it if you plan to use a computer to record music. There are other, cheaper options. The Fast Track Pro is a good value for what it costs. I make recommendations based on how well it works to do a particular task in the long run, not necessarily the cheapest solution. i personally own and use the FTP, as well as most everything else that I recommend.

What if i want to use Headphones that have 3.5mm ?
would i do
Korg
instrument cable
then 6.3mm (Instrument jack) to 3.5mm adapter then put headphones in that :S?
