v2.04 downgrade to v2.0

Hi,

I am planning to downgrade the OS of my KORG M3
from v2.04 to v2.0...will there be any problem???

I want to say no as long as u do not go back to 1. something but, I have never tried going fro 2.04 so don't sue me lol. Wonder why would u?

1. I see NO logical reason for it.
2. It might screw up the M3 (Korg said that).

I also agree that it's not worth doing. But I'm curious why you want to.
Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha).

there's a sticky here saying that if you downgrade your M3 will be in an endless boot loop

the problem wasn't only downgrading from 2.x.x to 1.x ?

Korg didn't remove any features between 2.0 and 2.04 ... and i haven't heard of any instance of reverting back to 2.0 fixing ANY problem. if you're having a problem with your M3, please use your warranty and contact a service technician before you do any messing around with the OS... or it will be a very expensive mistake...
