My circle data knob keep falling off!

every time now since lastnite i had this problem what the heck is going on?
any one have any ideas on how to fix this? Is there a pice missing beside this
cross pice of tape that was suppose to keep this thing together? I was trying to load the picture up to show you guys anyone know how to do this.

I just put some Keazy Glue on it, now i'm just waiting to see if this can fix the
problem.

It would help if Korg were told there is a problem here, so they can think of a proper solution. Glueing may work but what if it needs to be removed in the future, to allow access inside?

Using glue or doing anything else without contacting Korg or an authorized service center might void the warranty. I would call before doing anything.

When I auditioned the Kronos at my local Sam Ash the data wheel had the same issue. It's probably the same for an entire run. Maybe Korg can fix the problem before the next batch comes off the line.

I have to admit that these sort of build issues are my main concern with Kronos. I have a heavy gigging shedule and need to rely on a robust keyboard, planning on the K being the center of my live setup. Setlist and SST will transform the way I gig .I have no issues with the sound of it, I know it's going to blow me away....but if it's going to fall to pieces it's a real concern....let's just hope this down to a bad run and can be fixed.

Korg better get it together with these data wheels falling off & stuff!

It seems to be a fixable problem that should only require a slight modification to the male and female connection points of contact to the data wheel. Perhaps a manufactured molded groove surface would make the friction point tighter without the need for glue.

me too... I wonder if the 73 and the 88 will have the same problem... at least it's a simple problem like the data wheel and not something major like the USB jacks not being quite the right size. They'll prob do what they did with the M3's pads and buttons and just send out new ones. It is kinda amusing though, if you think about it... the most technologically advanced commercial synthesizer workstation in the world and it's biggest fault is a physical knob that won't stay on.

to be fair, there have been 2 or 3 reports of this. If there were 10 or 20 actual
independant reports, that would be more convincing.
