Radias PCM waveforms

Post by Chriskk »

I'm thinking about buying a Radias R. I downloaded the manual but it doesn't list the PCM waveforms. Is it true that they are the DW-8000 waveforms?

Some of them are.
The R3/MicroKorgXL and the original MicroKorg and MS2000 had 64 DWGS waveforms - DWGS being the digital wavetable system used on the DW-8000 and 6000.

I don't know if all of them are there.

On the Radias, they replaced half of these with actual samples. So there are some nice (read usable) strings, velocity switched EP, organ, noise spectrum, synth choir, and slap bass (nice), bass, guitar, ac guitar, etc waveforms.
