KP3 looper help please

while using the looper presets on the KP3.it only loops the first half on each division of the loop
..if i want a phrase to break down from full to half to quarter to eighth to sixteenth etc....
I am not able to figure out how to do this -

what I want is-

THe Sky Is Blue THe Sky Is Blue THe Sky Is Blue THe Sky Is Blue
The Sky The Sky The Sky The Sky
The The The The
Th Th Th Th
TTTT

what it does is

THe Sky Is Blue THe Sky Is Blue THe Sky Is Blue THe Sky Is Blue
Is Blue Is Blue Is Blue Is Blue
Blue Blue Blue Blue

i dont know if i am using it the right way?
I can do this by dividing the loop into 8 slices using shift+sample button...but this does not go to the shorter divisions...8th, 16th 32nd etc...

please help.....

don't have my KP3 with me to test this out to see what you might be able to do to get what you are wanting..

why not try using the loop slicing into 8 to the phrase you want..THEN use the looper to divide that further into smaller sections?

I dunno, could work, or it could do exactly the same thing its doing now..

a problem I find with using the loop slicing especially when going down to 1 or 2 slices.. is bringing back in the other slices without the loop start point being in the wrong place.. takes some practice and thought to get it right every time.

Use program SMP.1 It should do the trick, but you cannot play any other samples in the background.

you can do it by turning of the right slices at the right time!
(aka turn off slice 1 and 2 first, then, 7'' 8 , then 5 6
or somethung like that.
takes practice
amd then use the looper effects to slice it down to jibberish

then hit I think Tap tempo button while holding shift to
re allign the loops at zero when you are done glichting out
