[Tutorial] EMX: Polyphonic arpeggio with only one synth part

Post by achkasov »

Chose synth part you want to use

Synth
Synth Type: Chord
Osc Edit1: -any- (i prefer to program motion sequence for each chord manually)
Osc Edit2: +00

Modulation
BPM Sync: On
Destination: Osc Edit 2
Speed: 1/2
Type: #3 (Triangle)
Depth: -47 (play with it! ;)

Example: http://aczkasow.bandcamp.com/track/emx-arpeggio-trick

PS: This is a really powerful trick, can be used with ribbon, and you can play with Modulation Depth to change the speed of arpeggio.

Quite clever! I have done this also on occasion...

I am continually amazed at the possibilities of motion sequence and / or LFO
