copy from program fx slots overwrite?

When you copy a program with ifx to a midi channel in seq mode, it takes up those spaces in your ifx. Then you copy another and more spaces are used.

Well if you want to replace the first program you copied with another, it wont let you replace those ifx, you run out of slots. Is there a way you can overwrite the slots used?

I'm not at my KRONOS right now but I think you have to disable the ifx-slots (turn them 'off') so that they can be replaced.

Yes you can, you simply switch track 1 to the Program you want and then
just ReCopy the FX from that Program, they will override it.

Look in the upper right dropdown menu from the effects routing screen. There are all kinds of things you can do from there. I have removed the routing for programs that I didn't want to use anymore. Once that's done, you can turn the effects off and set them to 000 no effect. After that, use the "clean up" option in the menu and it will consolidate any "empty" slots you have.

Also, keep an eye on the programs you import. IFX slot 12 is often on (for drum track) in most programs. Also, there tends to be effects chains with multiple effects set to "dry." I have edited these things out of the programs I use most frequently and it has saved a TON of effects space when I put combis together for my band.
