When i make my final mix on the deck 9mainly eq) and then transfer it to my computer (exported from the deck as a wav file via usb), & i play it back on the computer (using the same headphones I use when mixing and playing back with Media Player), it seems all the EQ mods are gone and i have to tweak the eq in media player to bring it back to where it sounded like from the deck.
I'm pretty sure that the EQ is being printed on the final mix so i'm wondering if you may have encountered this 'eq problem' with media player/computers/whatever before.
Thanks,
-Jim

OK, i just did some playing around with Wavepad Editor v4.28 (hey, its free and i sometimes need to chop off the end of things...;>).
Anyways, i opened the song wav file in question up in WP and played it back through the same headphones i used to record & final mix the song with and lo & behold, it sounds the same as from the deck!
WPs eq is set flat too.
So Media Player seems to be the culprit so far.
