maybe your m50 suffer from the well-known "freeze problem": suddenly M50 stop responding to keyboard, touchscreen and knobs.

one user solve this re-installing the whole OS

one user has the whole mainboard changed

the rest have just some capacitors changed by korg assistance in their country.

try a reset procedure, if this is not enough try re-installing OS, if this is not enough too, you have to bring your M50 the tech assistance for repair.

thankyou very much for your valuable reply.....
I think mine is also the freezing problem....! hmmm...
what to do?

Will it be the famous capacitor problem?

i'm already having the latest os 1.1.0 installed.. I'm taking it to the service center as my rig is still in warranty....
Whether the korg gives replacement warranty?

-Any way god knows whether its going to be alright after the service.....

In one of the thread is reported a reset procedure (do not remember where exactly),you can try it and see if things Ger better. Otherwise i guess that returning m50 to assistance it's the best choice considering that you still have warranty.

There are two standard procedures to reset the know

Reset Korg M50 Stage one

1 - With the Korg M50 is turned off press and hold, the buttons and ENTER and 0.
2 - Turn On the Korg M50, and hold both buttons for 15 seconds.
3 - Make sure the keyboard returns to normal operation after this
4 - If you just reload your programs back again and return to normal use

But also the Korg M50 still can follow the next procedures

Reset Korg M50 stage two

1 - With the Korg M50 is turned off press and hold, release the buttons and ENTER and 9.
2 - Connect to follow the Korg M50, and keep both buttons pressed until the message appears BOOT VERSION 1.1.
3 - Hold down and see if the keyboard back to normal screen use
4 - Make sure the keyboard returns to normal operation after this.

If the problem persists, try re-installing OS, if this is not enough too, you have to bring your M50 the tech assistance for repair.

Thks.
