Hi guys, I've been using my keyboard for the past few years as a master midi keyboard for my DAW setup and for playing program sounds (for recording). Its been ages since I tried or wanted to use styles. (odd I know)
Today I tried to play some styles and when I hit the syncro start and red start buttons, the lights flash but i get no drum/perc, no accomp, and no bass. The solo instruments function in their respective splits.
Its very strange. I've tried trouble shooting reading the manual to no success, but I wonder if I'm not missing something easy?
When I look at the bottom of the style play screen- where the faders are, I see every instrument name highlighted in dark blue, except dr/perc, accomp and bass. Makes me thing they are muted somehow, like maybe my keyboard received a CC message that muted these channels inadvertently.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
thx
rob

Do a full OS and resources restore - then everything will be as per "out-of-the-box" - your styles should work fine then.
Make sure you perform the SDD "clear" by pressing the Intro1 button at the first diskette prompt.

thanks for your informative post. I reckon I ought to do this, just have to find one of my legacy machines that has a working floppy to make the disks and some studio down time when I won't get stuck w/o my favorite master keyboard in case I screw something up.
