sounds?
everytime i do split sounds on the combination each of them always sound different than the original sound i heard in the Programs section. sometimes they have annoying repetitive echos or they sound lower or deeper or something idk.
And i always have to find a different combination to change them in but they always have different settings. also how to take the sequence music off the combinations when changing?thanks
Setting combination sounds to sound exactly like program sou

You can edit ANY combination to sound completely different as before. Reading both manuals and just trying to edit parameters is good way to learn (you can always load default combis and programs)
Combinations have some settings which can override the program settings (but don't have to). If you want (ONE) program in combi mode to sound exactly as in prog mode you have to change all the settings (that have that option) to "Prg". That means combi will use program settings in that specific timbre. In page "3.1:Ed-Param1" check the "transpose" setting etc...
Also, you have to copy IFX and MFX from program to combi (it's the effects that make sound each program unique). In page "7.1:Ed-InsertFX" go to "utility" --> "copy insert effect" and choose which program it would be copied from. Also check the "post IFX mixer settings". Do the same with Master effects. You should get exactly the same sound.
The only problem is that when your combination use more timbres/programs only one will sound exactly the same as in prog mode. It's because combination use its own 'effect section' and you can use only ONE inert FX. That means the other timbres/programs have to share the same IFX or don't have any.
The 'sequence music' plays from arpeggiator. You can simply switch it off by pressing the "arp on/off" button. When you write/save the combi it is also saving the status of arpieggiator (on/off). So turn it off, then press "rec/write" button and confirm the saving. It will be off anytime you will go to that combi.
Remember: any changes you made in a combi have to be saved. when you choose another combi any unsaved changes will be lost.
Everything I wrote here is for Korg TR. I dont't know whether it is the same for Le.
