My new thing is "fighting" the Virus with the RADIAS so I watched this tutorial:

And made this patch:

If you would like to listen to the comparison I uploaded a clip to soundcloud. Audio from the Virus is ripped from the vid. Radias comes in halfway through, you'll be able to tell.

Its impressive that the Radias can go toe-to-toe with a unit twice its value. Anyway enjoy the pad :)

Nice water sound- I've heard better- but for a one timbre polyphonic sound, WOW. I never realized the R3 could do sfx so well. but the sound thats supposed to resemble the virus comes short. you should increase the sustain on it, and add some sort of extra filtering to one of the timbres. probably the bells- a compressor probbly. but these are really sick sounds.

its three timbres and it is of course made on the radias.
If you want to hear some nice waves check out my Windy Beach preset somewhere on the site. That sound is 100% R3 compatible: http://soundcloud.com/anomybourgeoisis/wind-beach

I agree that there should be extra movement of some sort but I'm not sure what the Virus is doing exactly. The guy goes only so far and I'm not familiar enough with the Access architecture to get all the modulations exactly correct. Getting the randomness of the bells was good enough for me.

No sir- but you can copy the settings by hand into the r3 and they are for the most part compatable(unless the sound you are trying to put on your r3 is using more than 2 timbres/has a drum kit that is completely necessary)

downlaod the radias editor to use it.
