Hi, We have been hearing this for so long, but the question is where to find the Ram and the service department, Korg does not do it.

what about change the standart ram with EXB-M256?

Looks like a standard SO-DIMM memory card commonly used in laptops (and my laser printer).

ricky..i guess not..i remembered about the pa80's pcmcia card it isnt the same as pc's pcmcia..so i guess this one isnt the same as pc's so-dim too.now im looking for exb-m256 but it is hard to find on my country(indonesia).. :(

i cant understand the service manual...it confused,,,i have pa2xpro standart ram..ill try it on my pa800..ill let u know what it gonna be...wish me luck :)

LOL..i guess korg pa800 OS doesnt support bigger RAM...i instaled pa2xpro's 128RAM but pa800 read it as 64Mb...

was it easy to install? is there any soldering required?
bec i want to install a 64mb ram in my keyboard bec the one i have is faulty.

it reads pa2xpro's ram(128mb) as 64mb...so im sure it reads exb-m256 either..but once again as 64mb...it needs spcial OS ..ive contacted to ketronkorg whose upgraded pa800 to pa800ex..he mentions that it needs HDKIT instaled and 256 ram and special OS that he develops...it costs about $500 to upgrade pa800 to pa800elite with special OS and 256 RAM..and it done by ur self without soldering or modified the CPU board..he just send the stuff,,here is ketronkorg's facebook profile..
