Post by nine4v »

Hi Oh newbie here.

I am trying to load samples from my laptop using the Editor but when I try to open a wav file that I have on my laptop the editor says there are no files.

Ideas?

Had same problem , installing the drivers is not enough.
Did you manually select the Korg KP3 Driver(s) on your computer as stated in Korg Literature ? (online or in manual cannot remember which)

Hi, yeah I did it that way round.

Thanks for your reply.

All the drivers and software are up to date.

Ive hooked the KP3 up to FL Studio and taken samples from that, so I guess it's all working ok.

It just wont read my wav samples. :? I can open up the folders but when I do it says that they are empty.

looks like when you have the editor open - click the bank you want to import your .wav file to, then click on the import tab in the main window, this will open the import window - navigate to your folder and make sure the "files of type" tab is set to wave files.....
