Found a nice little gem for my Kronos

Post by EnjoyRC »

This pedal works great in Set List Mode, as well as Combi or Program modes. Now I am completely hands free. Great for SST. Performed with it for the first time last night. Wow!!

Oh man...so you can search around for your program without having to have them all in a row?

I often switch sounds during songs, but usually always go back to the first slot when using the piano. Easy when using the touchscreen.

I've always hesitated buying a footswitch for this purpose because i don't have all my sounds exactly in order. If I can now search for the sound first and then "activate it" ...well thats awesome.

Good look!

I think it's a shame that Korg synths still don't have a change option for both program UP and program DOWN. Such an easy feature to create.

I read this page, however you can only set a foot pedal to either up OR down, not use two pedals (like I have on my FCB1010), nor there is a MIDI CC signal for Up/Down.

I understand that this might be useful in some circumstances. However, Set Lists are designed to make this unnecessary, since you can easily have duplicate entries as required, and step through them in order without having to remember whether the next sound is up or down...
