hi,
i have a problem:
i connected the m50 with an usb cable to my win7 pc after i installed the korg drivers, m50 editor and driver updates.
when i plug the m50 in you could hear the win7 sound for a connected usb device but the m50 editor dosn`t find the m50.
the settings on the unit in global mode are ok like it`s discribed in the m50 editors manual.
anyone the same problem or an idea to fix it?
fl studio dosn`t find the m50, too.
thanks, dirk

m50 editor problem
Hi,
It happened to me this weekend, on the M50 I went to Global->Midi page->Midi routing tab
And I checked the box "Enable System Exculsive" in the midi filter section.
You can see this menu on page 84 of the manual.
I saw another post on this forum and the guy did a factory restet and it worked for him.
Let me know if this works.
Thanks,
Denis

it's sad but it happens with ALL editors from KORG in all DAWs, except Cubase.
I'm angry too because editors for microX and M50 don't work properly with Sonar and Ableton.
There's only oe solution:
- go to the preferences/MIDI in your DAW
- "turn off" MIDI INPUT from your KORG
results: editor-plugin now recognises M50 and works as it should, but YOU CAN NOT use M50 as a controller!
if there's a fix - please let me know, because even if I'll make some other settings (midi ports) in plugin - it doesn't do nothing.
