Rocus, the keybed is fine but of the two I would say the MM8s is slightly better. The Kronos feel is good but it is definately a little bit more audible and the spacing is not quite as uniform as the Yamaha.

The slight variance in the spacing of 'some' keys on the Kronos is only really visible on close inspection, it's certainly not something I'd worry about. When I say this please bear in mind I am normally the sort of person that likes things very precise (it's comes with my mechanical engineering background).

I have no other problems to report as it shows none of the ills that have been mentioned previously, although I have only had it for one day!

Although it is not a mechanical problem the infamous data wheel is the cheapest looking part imaginable. It certainly looks out of place on the Kronos. What were Korg thinking of when they sourced that particular item?
Rhodes 73 Mk1; Kronos 88; Synthex; Electribe EMX-1; Motif XS Rack; Yamaha DX7IIFD; Yamaha MM8; Roland Alpha Juno-2; Roland JV-2080; Tascam FW-1884.

Just got off the phone with Digital Village. My K73 is on its way, so I can breathe again now.
