Must-read interview with Wavedrum designer!

Post by WaveDrummer »

For anyone that is interested in, and intrigued by, the history of the Wavedrum, here is a link to a fascinating interview from 2004 with the inventor of the Wavedrum, Mr. Mori, as well as the Wavedrum project manager, Mr. Motohashi. This interview was conducted by Tim Pasch.

Their passion for the Wavedrum is evident throughout. This is a rare glimpse behind-the-scenes of the making of a legendary instrument.

You will find it in the wdinterview link:

Do yourselves a favor and explore the rest of Tim's website as well. There are some great pics and other pieces of history. Under the video link, you will find rare footage of the very first Wavedrum release event.

Thanks to Tim Pasch for all his work in assembling and sharing this info with the rest of us!

Thanks for posting that WaveDrummer. Tim did a great job on that interview.

Sounds like Mr. Mori and Mr. Motohashi have a great sense of humor.

I know the first WD was very expensive but is the newer WD as good or is the original still the benchmark?
