I'm hesitant to upload this version of the sound because I'm working on a better way to get all the Trinity sounds.
Monster lead was one of the patches i fell in love with when i heard the trinity for the first time, awesome patch! I would be glad if you shared the patch when you have finished it!.

Not to needlessly bump this, but I'm just curious if anyone found this patch to be helpful, fun, a good approximation of the original, etc.

Thanks.

The monster lead is very good. Haven't tried it at a descent volume but it sounds very nice to my ears. I'd recommend it. :D
Gig Gear = Korg Kronos 61(down to 1 keyboard at gigs... Its great!!)
Gear at home - Studiologic SL-880(primarily used for Piano feel for Kronos... Nice!!!), Korg Triton Classic 61 (Moss, SCSI, 64ram), Korg 01/Wfd, Roland Juno 6.

Anybody can submit a audio demo here that I can add to the website? :)

I've used the Monster Lead sound that I put into my Triton Pro-X at rehearsals and we tend to be incredibly loud. It works great. I was originally using my Wavestation but decided to lug the silver beast there and used the Monster Lead a few times. We're still in the construction phase of the band doing primarily our own material so I kind of have free reign for sounds. Once I have a case built I'll be using my Kronos 73. I got the Monster Lead sound from Progsounds. I just printed the instructions and put it in. No internet yet in my music room. We're a fairly heavy band so I'm going to have to come up with some sounds that'll keep it beefy when our guitarist do his leads. Guess I'm going to have to get some Jordan Rudess type sounds.
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!

Any chance robbinhood (or someone that downloaded his dream theater sounds he was talking about in the first page) could upload those dt inspired pcg files?

I am covering a couple of DT songs and craving for patches that sound "dream theateresque".

Many thanks!

Id like to check out those Dream Theater sounds as well if possible.

My heavy band has it's first gig tomorrow night.
I'm using some distorted guitar-like sounds mixed in with other choir and orchestral sounds using velocity to bring in the distorted sound when I want it. So far it's working pretty well. I don't have them too loud in the mix but they do add the toughness that is needed.

I always have a Prophecy nexto to me, for years, thats where all my knowledge
from programming on Korg comes from. I dont know, i can't really compare the 2.

I wish the Korg Kronos has a button or selection to turn many of those lead mono synth sounds corded non mono sounds.. Like I heard one on demo and was like wow! Then I hit a few keys and found it to be useless to my style.. So a way to turn a sound mono on or off wound be cool.
