Controling Virus TI with Korg Tr

Post by jeff_1326 »

Hi everyone ! I had a Korg M3 and I used it as a sound module and midi controler for my virus ti. The only message I send from M3 to TI is program change +1 ( with a switch pedal )

I changed my m3 for a Tr ($) and when it's properly plugged, the midi signal of program change doesn't work, neither with the pedal or the switch on the keyboard. I tried to search what was the problem and I can't find ? It worked with the M3..

Thanks a lot guys :)

The TR has two MIDI port.
An USB (to the computer) and a traditional.

Unfortunatelly you can't use them simoultanously. If you use the USB port (so if it's active) there are no communication on the traditional MIDI port just on USB. Maybe this is your problem?
