Yngwie malmsteem-ish synth sound

I'm trying to create your typical synth-yngwie malmsteem-ish slightly guitar like sound. Thsi video showcases the sound better than i usually find elsewhere so i chose this instead of one of his songs.

The lead sounds very alien and i've never been able to make anything even remotely similar to it. (accept on my roland hs60, which is not in full working order)

i know that, but i mean theres some sort of effect or modulation as well isnt there?

Add some chorus and portamento... then salt & pepper to taste.
