Kronos 88 and RH3 keyboard faulty

That diagnosis can be confirmed with the MIDI sequencer.maxtub wrote:Try to observe exactly what happens when the key is having the problem, you'll see that has a little bounce that causes an effect like "replied" (I hope it translates well) which causes a first corrected sound velocity and a second with very low velocity

Got the same problem with my Kronos 88. Also have the "clonking" problem mentioned earlier in this post thread, and posted elsewhere in the forum. Something is definitely wrong with this line of the RH3 keyboards. I've been playing a Triton Extreme 88 for over 6 years, and have never had either problem. I'm taking my Kronos back to the store tomorrow to see what can be done. Of course, that was the only in the store, so it might be another long wait to get another.

Has anyone received a response from Korg of the reason for these problems with the 73 and 88 keyboard?
I think everyone is very interested in that response. Those who received the Kronos with these defects and those who ordered and waiting to get it soon.
I'm preodered and waiting for Kronos in November in Germany. If this defect all 73 and 88 series of Kronos, perhaps i should wait until things clear up completely and dont buy it.

For now, Korg did not say anything. The first defective keyboards, in Italy, will come to the laboratories of assitance in tomorrow or the next day so I think it will take a few days.
I would like to specify that the problem is very evident on the 88 keys, while the 73 is much lower so that some users claim not to have it. A colleague of mine with the SV1 claimed that he never found the fault but when I probvata I showed him that in some cases notes were blocked shots.

Re: the blocked notes problem, can you confirm that you observe the same behaviour as in the recording in my first post (Sun Sep 25, 2011 1:25 pm, page 1 of this thread)? With the same pattern?
Do you find it particularly affects the lower region of the keyboard (say B2 and below)?
I'll put something together as a starting point when I get home.Davidb wrote:Indeed.kron wrote:This is becoming scary -
Can someone post steps to reproduce these problems? That's the first thing I want to test when I get the keyboard and decide if I want to keep it..!
This is the best way to go, IMHO.
If I had to distinguish between my 88 and a perfectly functioning one, I imagine I could succeed with just 10 seconds of playing each one. It's just a case of putting it into words...
