KP3 Editor msg when I hit TRANSMIT [via usb]

Post by sasanya »

Hey guys,

I just bought a kp3 and at the moment I don't have an sd card so my first try was to upload a sample into the kp3 editor and transmit it to the kp3 via the usb cable.

When I hit TRANSMIT the first msg I get is :

This operation will overwrite Sample Data on KP3. Continue?

Do I continue or is that gonna overwrite something valuable? Can someone please help me! What do I do?

Thanksss!

Continue. You're not going to overwrite anything except empty bits.

Hey Thanks so much ! :) I got help from djfluorescent. I ended up having to dwld drivers as well bc the drivers I got with the product did not work. Same with my drivers I got with fast track pro m-audio. Had to dwld from the net.

Thank you though :)

That was a good lesson, in any case. The DVDs that come with the hardware make good drink coasters, not much good for installing, so always check for the latest drivers on the manufacturers website to save yourself much wasted time of figuring out that the old drivers don't work right.
