A little example of passive agressiveness...

Post by TuhwistedFiahstatah »

I joined this forum close to a year and a half ago with no knowledge of synthesizing at all, and have made only a few posts so far. Every week or so I lurk the threads looking for info I can scrounge up. I've busted my ass for a long time, teaching myself what each little knob, each little value, and each click of a mouse can do to make my synth sound the way I want.

I may not be particularly good, I may not be particularly proficient, and I may not be the best learner out there, but I think the moral of the story is...

MORSHU, SHUT THE F****** COMPUTER OFF AND TURN A FEW KNOBS. YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY F****** LEARN SOMETHING.

AND FORUM VETERANS, YOU GIVE A MAN A PATCH, HE SYNTHS FOR A DAY. YOU DIRECT HIM TO COUNTLESS PAST POSTS THAT MIGHT GIVE HIM A PARCEL OF KNOWLEDGE, HE SYNTHS FOR A LIFETIME.

Pardon me for saying what you were all thinking...

We can't really have a thread directed at attacking one particular individual.
Your message is quite clear and in good spirit, and I think many of us 'veterans' already subscribe to the "Give a man... Teach a man... " thing.
But I think we should leave it at that before this turns into some kind of war.
