I've got a question about program change.
I don't know if it's possible but when I play the first patch in setlist mode on my Kronos and then I switch to the next patch the rack is changing from combi A-000 to A-001, but in this case I want the rack to go from A-000 to B-005 ?
My question is how do I program the Kronos/rack for this task?
Thanks!

I never tried it myself, but I think you have to make a combi, set one timbre to EXT or EX2 and then you can set somewhere in the timbre the bank and program number to be sent by MIDI. Use as MIDI channel the channel of the slave (rack).

I would assume MSB is the bank number (so that would be 1 for B) and LSB for index (0-127).
But if you want to be sure, select 3 or 4 and some strange number for index to see if it jumps to another location than A000 or A001.

You have to check MIDI implementation chart for the Triton Rack in order for you to know how to map the banks to MSB/LSB. Hope you have access to the documentation or try to download itheadcover wrote:I tried to set the timbre to EXT 2 and program 006 but I don't know what numbers I should set in MSB/LSB ?
The rack still just go from A 000 to A 001.

urgh.. if its a korg to korg connection you dont need to use EXT2. just use EXT. both kronos and triton use the same bank mapping.
Say you have a combi that you want ot control the triton rack with
Timbre 1 - set to ext
change it to the midi channel that the triton rack receives on. It will have to be different then the kronos!!!!!!!!!!!!!
change the bank number and letter accordingly.
