NEW 2012 RESOURCES FOR KORG PA800 AND PA2X

Post by johnsmies »

In June this year I purchased the PA800 myself and was also lucky to acquire the XMS stick extension, manufactured by Musictronics, Germany. For the last four months I have been programming intensively to turn the PA800 into a keyboard that can actually compete with the new PA3X or any other keyboard, resulting in the 2012 JS MUSICAL RESOURCES.

In the first place these new resources have been programmed for those PA800 and PA2X musicians who also have the XMS stick attached. The results are absolutely stunning and acquiring those you will be laughing all the ways ! Not wanting to disappoint the PA800 and PA2X owners without the XMS stick, I have also made a version that runs smoothly on the standard version. So you can simply choose the correct version for your PA keyboard.

For details about the contents of these new 2012 Resources please have a look at my webpages: http://pasounds.intropagina.nl/

Hi John

I do not have the XMS stick nor do I intend buying it, however I am interested in your saying that you have produced a "resources" upgrade for those, like me, who do not have the XMS.

Are there any samples to hear any of this?

Many thanks

Hi Pete,

Nope there are'nt any samples I am sorry to say. Based of previous experiences I wil simply offer my Resources as they are. As you can read on page 4 of my webpages those who did acquire the PA500 Resources are very satisfied.
And so they should be, cause though there is no accounting fort tastes I am confident that my programming work will be worthwhile and to some even inspirational. More than the small contribution to my extensive work I treasure the appreciation that I have met with so far for all my efforts.
I am sure there will be comments later on here in this tread from those who have ordered these 2012 Resources , perhaps even you ?!!

kind regards,

Hi John

Sorry - bad wording - by "samples" I just meant MP3 extracts of some styles etc or a youtube demo....

Yes i will consider it if my PA3X doesn't arrive by the end of this month (4 months wait is too long...)

Keep up the great work..

Cheers

Hi there,

If you are looking for a new source of inspiration for your Korg Pa800 or PA2x.
If you do not feel like programming performances for hours and hours.
If you just want to start up your Korg and select new great performances.
If you are familiar with John's work.
If his work is unknown to you.

Don't look any further,,,,,,,,, :3dshocked:

Thank you John for inspiring me with these new 2012 resources ,

again you hit the nail on the head:

Hi John

For every plus comment there will no doubt be a minus. So here goes.

Since I received your new resources file, my local pub have sent out a scout to find me, the brewery has filed for bankruptcy. my work flow has ceased and I have lost clients. My electricity bill has increased, I am loosing sleep and do not have time to eat.

WHY? All because of the enjoyment and pleasure I am getting through your file. I am a home keyboard player/playabouter and do not alter many things (although I do sometimes)anh find that your file has given the keyboard new life and myself new enthuisiasm.

Best wishes

Many thanks

NEW 2012 RESOURCES FOR KORG PA800 AND PA2X

John
Thank you so much for the BKP file, I have installed everything OK and it’s as if the keyboard has been resurrected. Yes like many others, I haven’t put in the time necessary to tweak sounds and styles, but I am really enjoying what almost sounds like another keyboard. Thank you so much for your work…the price was indeed a bargain. :D

Thanks for all the kind words. I would like to emphasise once more that there is no need whatsoever to have the XMS stick, which is not cheap. Anyone with a standard PA800 or PA2X will benefit from my Resources as is expressed by most folks here who ordered them.

Of course there is always a matter of personal taste. Hence if you expect a 25 euro miracle that will replace your current keyboard by a brand new one entirely to your taste the advice cannot be but: dream on !!
But if you are looking for good new performances , sounds and styles, there will be lots of things you will like or will be able to use to your advantage.

As mentioned on my webpages apart from the 320 brand new performances these Resources also harbour more than 500 extra styles, nearly 100 user sounds and plenty of new user pads.

regards,
John Smies

2012 musical resources

Hello John & greetings from the Florida Keys!!

I'm really interested in your new updates. I tried E-mailing you using the PM option on the FORUM, but it didn't seem to work with my computer system. Then I tried E-Mailing you directly using AT&T E-mail, and I got an undeliverab;e message back from the E-Mail gods. So, perhaps if you sent me an E-Mail at NDR!@bellsouth.net, I can finally get in touch with you and order this great product.

Looking forward to your response,

Papa PEte
