Hello all,
I am having an issue syncing my EMX-1 as slave to my Roland Juno G. If I program a 4-bar loop on the Juno, and hit play, there is a hiccup on the EMX-1 at the end of the 4 bars, immediately putting the 2 out of sync. I have used the Juno in the past successfully with other devices, just wondering if anyone has any advice on things I can try. I am still trying to figure out which unit is causing the issue, and if perhaps the EMX-1 would work better as master. Here is what I am trying to accomplish:
Juno G - EMX-1 - Blofeld Desktop, all synced with the Juno's keyboard controlling the Blofeld. I want to use the Juno G to sequence the Blofeld, and sync up with the EMX-1's tempo.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.

Sorry nobody got back to you in time before you found the answer yourself, but you probably learned more by doin' it yourself, right?
The choice of which device should be the midi master clock can be a tough one, but yeah, using the DAW as the master is usually best because it has the most powerful sequencing capability, usually with higher internal timing resolution.

No worries, I knew it would be tough when listing specific gear. It was definitely a learning experience. I didn't try Ableton right off the bat because I was reading that there would be clock issues etc, but I ran it hundreds of bars, and my gear seemed to be in perfect sync, so pretty happy with the results.
