Anyone managed to put an internal SCSI drive in a Trinity

Has anyone ever attempted to mount a SCSI drive internally in a Trinity. I have a few 2G 2.5" SCSI drives (they do exist) that would probably fit and dont take a lot of power compared to the 3.5" drives. I'm guessing I could solder wires directly onto the pads on the TRI-HDR board?
