pitch modulation when pressing damper pedal-Help

I have tried multiple pedals, I use to be able to flick joystick and it would come out of it, but I think that was a coincidence.
I just replaced the plastic knob/button assemblies and disconnected the joystick, now it does it constantly. note, when I unplug the damper pedal, pitch modulation stops.

I have similar, maybe the same problem - sometimes, I cannot reliably reproduce it, pressing the damper pedal changes the pitch of the tone. I have a feeling that it is connected to programs and combinations using portamento. It appears randomly to me after switching to new combination. Anyone have an idea how to disable it? Thanks a lot!

This is because your joystick has loose wires! Take it to Tech

you may be right, I had it to a tech when it was intermittant, they could not
recreate symptom and found nothing. $227.00. last night I reconnected joystick and problem is gone as a constant. time will tell if it comes back intermittantly, I have a show tonight.

Well seeing how you use USD, if you are near california and want me to check it out (i repair keyboards professionally and I am in Los Angeles California) you can bring it or ship it and i definitely wont charge you $227 to fix it.. thats an absurd price

But if youre confortable in opening it yourself, just look for loose wires around the joystick., if theres nothing, then the PCB is cracked and you need a new either PCB or joystick assembly which isnt expensive at all...

I did open it up, did not find loose wires, I reconnected joystick, I can now consistantly get it to stop by flicking the joystick, wires and connections look good. I ordered a new joystick. thanks for input, I appreciate it.
