Dear friends,
is there any one there who can help me?
I'm in trouble with my PC and my Pa800.
After have plugged the USB cable to connect PC and Korg arranger, I enable the HD and SSD-U Connection in the USB tab of the MEDIA mode.
That's OK, as immediately after this operation, my PC can see the USER memory of the Pa800, but:
1) My PC sees the USER of 19,8MB of the Pa800 (driver E: )
2) When I open it, I can't see anything. Just an empty folder, as the USER memory was totally empty.
3) Anyway I can't see the HD installed in my Pa800.
Basically I can't do anything with my PC (Windows 7).
What do you suggest me to do?
Thank you in advance,
Renato

I assume you have installed the Korg USB driver for WINDOWS 7?
Ref: page 329 in the PA800 User Manual
If not - it is here

Hi Pete,
thanks for your feedback.
Of course you are right, it's necessary to install the Korg drivers.
But actually I did it, as a matter of fact the PC was showing me the "KORG USER (E: )".
Anyway, just to make sure about the drivers I have removed and installed them again. It was a bullfight as after that operation nothing worked anymore. Until at least I have not changed USB port of my PC. And this time (magic!) I can see the content of the drive E: Wow! Mistery, but it works.
Oh, warning, it's an important step up, but the issue is not finished. As the PC can show me the content of the KORG USER memory, but it does not show me yet the HD, even if that disk is full of resources...
At the end the situation now is a little bit better than yesterday but there is still an issue:
1) I can open in my PC the USER Memory of my Korg Pa800. Excellent!
2) I cannot open in my PC the Hard Disk installed in my Pa800. Bad!
Still need help... sorry.

Can you try this connection on a different PC or notebook?
I had similar problems where the DRIVE (letter assignment) gets buried.
- it was a WINDOWS problem, not Korg.
Cheers
