Need Help about sending midi in PadKontrol

Hi all, i 've bought brandnew padkontrol today. I used usb bus power , connect it to my Tiger Touch but when i check the midi signal recieve on my TT , it displayed nothing when i tried to press some buttons on the padkontrol. Do i need to trigger something in the padkontrol to send midi out? i ask my friend he used it before , he said no need to trigger something in the pad?
