Back in the day I wired a 9.6V NiCd battery pack up to my EA-1 and ES-1. this is the type commonly used in RC toys at the time. You don't see them much anymore but I bet you can still get them. I found mine at a radioshack, on clearance with the charger for about ten bucks. another couple bucks for some connectors and I made up a Y cable to run both Electibes from one battery. They ran a couple hours at least, never really used it much, main goal was to play them in the car on road trips. Sometimes I would just walk around the house with the ES-1, headphones, and a cheap mic......lotsa fun.FranzK wrote:what do i want for the next electribe? and all future kaoss gear?
BATTERY POWER!
So I can jam out on stage, outside, or anywhere.

Here's my two cents.....I wouldn't make too many changes, maybe some more fx & 6 options instead of 3. Make the fx motion sequence undo in the same way as the other motion sequence. (Currently if you write it ,you can't clear it to start again & it will then only overwrite whats already there rather than replace it)
Individual adjustment of accent per part would be cool rather than one accent setting to rule them all.
Most of all....More than anything else i would like to see Korg make the electribes QUIET apart from the sound we want to make, i can't believe they still make this unit but won't hush that fuzz ! It gives me real issues at times.
If it meant getting rid if the tubes, great, i'm all for it .Just stop it spoiling my recordings by washing them in white noise !

another addition i'd like: being able to decide whether LFO is re-triggered on note. I like the tri-wave LFO but its difficult to program it tightly insync cos it doesnt re-trigger (saw wave doesnt cut it for me)
