You're going to love the Radias... but be warned, it's a very deep synth. When I first un-boxed mine, I had no idea what to expect.
My wife is more of a "synth widow" now then ever before, because every time I turn on the Radias, hours pass. I didn't do a lot of programming at first because I wanted to study the factory patches and see how the sequencer and arps worked. I spent most of yesterday afternoon tweaking and writing a couple new tunes.
It's a great synth side by side with the M3.

I bought mine recently. I used analog stuff in the mid to late 70's and Korg synths into the early 80's. The Radias will only reward those who dig deep. In short...it's awesome.

thanks, all! very happy to be here. brought the new baby home today and love it. and i only ffwd'd past a few presets before i stumbled across one that had me tweaking the knobs for a while. lost all track of time.

i am the 2nd owner of it and it's nearly mint. i'm hoping the brown smudge near the power button was only old chocolate. lol
plugged it into my old 80's mesa-boogie tube amp and it sounds great! a super addition to my reason synths. and hopefully it will play nice with my nord rack.
the previous owner didn't install v2 -- i noticed a post last night about someone having issues with win7/64, this is the only thing that's a bit worrisome. hopefully it'll be fine.
btw, i'm hnelson on the props forum, if anyone here is also over there....

I've been building a 'hybrid' home studio, hard and soft synths, for about 3 years ... and have just got to the point where I can multitrack record synth audio into Cubase ... and with my patch bay even multitimbral multitrack some of my gear all with one pass of the sequencer.
I've been really promiscuous, messing around with Korg, Roland, Ensoniq and E-Mu ... but the Radias is my only modern synth and the one I intend to start digging into synthesis with.
So, it's a great New Year for me too with my Radias R and this forum.
