Basically they have made some changes to the Pa500, changed the screen to a color screen, used the Pa800 operating system, and made it to works like a Pa800. It can use all the sets with samples made for Pa800.

But how did they manage instaling ram memory modules into pa500? This isnt just software modofication, it also have to be done some motherboard surgery i persume?

It's not Arabic, it's persian but who cares, still only a few understand it!

I started reading their forum few months ago, and now I know for fact, they modify and sell Korg PA 500 for sure. I didn't read up on the details, cause i wasn't interested, so I'm not sure how they're doing this, but they're doing it! Looks like they add extra ram, sampler and color screen. Apperently, a lot of users are interested in hacked PA500 in Iran, as it's a cheaper alternative to PA800...etc. How stable it is, I have no clue.
