MIDI volume control on TR61 w/ m-audio 61es

Post by rootsgroup »

It's gotta be easy, I'm just missing it and need some help.

I use combis for split programs on my rig, and it works out fine, except for one thing.

Here's an example:

Combi A013- Organ sound on 61es, piano on TR. TR volume slider acts as master, controls both keyboards. 61es slider controls that keyboard only.

Combi A110- Piano sound on 61es, organ on TR. Same piano program on both, different organ. Now the TR acts as master volume still. but 61es slider does not control anything.

I also have a combi that both sliders act as masters.

I much prefer the first option, (duh) but can't seem to figure out how to duplicate it on the others.

Anybody Know?
