i have recently upgraded the OS to 3.1.1.
I usually run dense sequences on this, and this is a major drawback using the on board sequencer.
Also,I have run a midi file into the sequencer to record it, and I'm guessing with the note capacity it quite often runs out halfway through the recording process.
Anyway to boost the note capacity on the sequencer? I'd like to use it,but it seems like i'm stuck with taking my laptop to run the sequences, and not to use the onboard sequencer at all.
I have the V3 with PBS and HDR installed on it.
Thanks to all for the past help!

Why is the redraw screen on the sequenzzer so SLOW?

I'm afraid the screen redraw speed is just a fact of life you'll have to live with. When playing notes the Trinity is notoriuosly slow to respond to the touch screen. I remember that updating the OS improved speed greatly on one of my Trinities, but I don't think it was a minor version difference like on yours (rather from 3.0.1 to 3.1.2, or something alike).
Note capacity of the Trinity's sequencer is not that bad (80k notes), but if you're usings lots of realtime controllers (bend, aftertouch, modulation, etc.) then you can run out of memory quite easily. An option is to 'thin' such controllers - I'm not sure you can do that on the Trinity itself (even if you were able to load the sequence), but most decent sequencer/DAW software can do that. So loading your sequence in one of these programs and 'thin' out controllers might get you to being able to load the processed sequences into the Trinity
