transferring rar. files to sound editor on a mac??

transferring rar. files to sound editor on a mac??

found a bunch o patches in rar. format... any idea how to get these files to be accepted on the sound editor to be transferred to my mk?? Thanks

.rar is a compressed format and they can be viewed and uncompressed with software like winRAR and 7-zip. Open the .rar archive with one of these and there should be the patch(es) in there in the normal format (.prg). You can then use your program to extract the .prg files, which the editor works with.

They're actually on Facebook lol, type in microkorg and you'll find a page for it with a series of six patch packages for free download! Don't know what the quality is all about though...
