MicroKontrol pads and Ableton live 8 Drum racks

Hi ... I'm using a Korg Microkontrol attached to a presonus firebox to control Ableton live 8 on a laptop with windows 7...

i've just switched from ableton 5 to 8 and changed computer

I can get the pads/sliders/keys to work controlling most functions. However, I'd like to be able to trigger the 'pads' in ableton 8's 'Drum rack' with the pads on my Microkorg and I cant figure it out

I can control other parameters in the drum rack (and everything else I've tried)with the midi assign ... so basically its a question of how/if you assign the drum rack 'pads' (it seems logical that you should be able to otherwise why would they lay it out as a set of pads !?)

anyone got any suggestions ... any help would be really welcome !

Hello there, does anybody know about setting up the microkontrol pads to use them with Abletons drum track or impulse as trigger pads..from a macbook pro with lion osx. I cannot figure it out how to manage since the library editor is for rosseta and powerpc and it is not compatible with lion osx.

link is to korg.com page for microkontrol downloads and shows both librarian and drivers (and other software) for Mac.

Thanks but theres nothing that helps me to install editor librarian in macs 10.7. lion osx. :[
