Installation of 265 Mb RAM in PA2X

Dear all,
I got the new 265 Mb RAM for KORG PA2X Pro. So please I need explanation in How to remove the 128 Mb and to fix the new RAM in the slot. because i'm afraid to damage any part. "They're very sensitive pieces"

do you mind giving the info of where you bought the extra Ram from?
they should have sent you the installation details.

From U.A.E. but i ask about removing the old one and fixing the new one. Not software installation.

I will recommend that you should let a professional do it!
If you do it by your self the Damaging of your keyboard is 95%. and If you are a professional then you have to remove the screws and unplug the wires and then open the metal-box and the RAM is installed inside of that box.
but there are so many wires and screws that you have to remove and if you replace or misplace any of them then you are in a big trouble!
Since you are doing it with your own risk.
some parts of the keyboard are easy damageable.
If I were you I would either send it to a music workshop or returned the Ram and got my money back.

PA2XPro RAM replacement is very very easy to do.

My advice is to follow the instructions in the PA2XPro User Guide (they are very clear and easy to follow) and use an anti static strap when handling the memory boards.

Sorry I thought this post was about Pa800, Although I don't have a Pa2x So you might be right.
My post was about replacing the RAM on a Pa800.
