External mode setup question

Hi All many thanks for the brilliant info from this forum.
Does anyone know if there is a way to save anyone of the 127 External midi controllers in External1 mode setup to a combi or program?
I run a VJ program live which is controlled from my Kronos, it has lots of CC controls. It would be nice to control all the CC messages over several program's or combi's.

Okay so I guess the answer is No. But why have 127 external controller setups in global menu, when they can't be saved with program's or combi's.
The possibilities for the Kronos to control lots of different external equipment could be quite exciting.

this annoyes me too. I would love to see that you can save this within a combi/seq
