New EMX-1 User

I just got an EMX-1 SD and have been messing around with it. I am still learning how to use it. Is there an easy way to cover a song with the EMX-1? Can you import the song into it and learn the sounds? Forgive me if I am asking a silly question.

Read about MIDI.

If you can find a MIDI file someone has written for the song, you can make the EMX paly that file, which will play the correct notes at the correct time - you'd still need to pick the right synth tones to sound like the original.

To build a song you have to make several patterns for all the different parts of the song (verse, chorus etc) and then combine them into song (check manual), or if you want to play a song "live" you can just change the patterns manually.
