what can i use the exp pedal for?

all i can seem to get it to do is make the SV-1 play VERY quiet...and i can't fix until I turn the SV-1 off/on.

now that i've fixed my sustain pedal (with a third party sustain), I'm hoping i can use the pedal it came with (rather, the equivalent pedal that korg sells) for something useful.

am i just calibrating it wrong?

should i calibrate it to pedal 1 or 2? (not damper obviously). thanks

I have a sustain pedal on (I think it's 1...you may have to check your manual) one of the controllers to control my rotary sim slow/fast switch. It's kind of a one trick pony, but it works.
