is there actually a book price list somewhere for used synths/gear? (in both UK/Euros as I realise countries will differ)
what is the book price for a used tex 61 in great condition? (UK and Euro I need to know not US as I know US is a lot lower)
book price for used gear

The current prices for a used Triton Extreme 61 vary depending on condition and upgrades. However, the average price looks to be about $1000-1100 US, which would be approximately 640-704 British pounds.
From comparing new US keyboard prices those in the UK, I suggest adding 20% to the UK price above and you should have a good picture of what to sell your Extreme for.

I brought an 88 note extreme with moss board, that has a few scratches on it about 3 weeks ago for £1100. Was on ebay but also privately advertised and as I found both, I talked him into accepting £1100 cash on collection outside of ebay hence he saved on the fees.
He really wanted to sell for more but had it advertised for around a month with no takers.
At the same time another ebayer was selling a perfect condition 88 note without the moss board, they wanted £1100 as the starting bid and it wasn't sold (zero bids).
In the last week a triton extreme 88 that looks to be in a similar condition to mine has sold for £718 without the moss board so in theory if I could source a moss board, I might have saved a few £ by waiting but it's so far to go and collect, wouldn't have been any good for me anyway.
Yesterday a brand new ?????????? Triton extreem 88 sold for £975 also without the Moss board, but personally the whole thing stinks to me and I suspect it's a scam, very low feedback and a brand new triton doesn't add up to me.

Hmm, the 88 note extreme that sold for £718 has now been re-listed with a buy it now price of £700
The 61 key extremes on ebay vary a lot, but the expensive ones aren't selling and are being re listed.
Someone's asking for £1399 for a 61 note, 80 meg ram (96MB specifically sourced for the Triton Extreme cost me just £25 inc delivery last week), in a flight case so chances are it's been gigged. Zero info about it except for manufactures info.
Another 61 note is on for £1150 buy it now. I think this has also been re listed (else its been on for a long time)
Neither have the moss board and both are a lot more than the 88 notes are selling for.
There's one other 61 note with a sparkly finish around the joystick (again no moss board) that's on auction and the price is currently £340 with 2 days 9 hours to go. It didn't sell last week (had zero bids) with a starting price of £690.
I sold my 73 note M3 with exp mem and Radias for £1300 one month ago, that was after re-listing 3 or 4 times and realising that the others also selling their M3's are simply not selling them for the money they would like.
In the past 2 weeks, a 61 M3 has sold for £760, a 61 note M3 with Radias sold for £920 and a 73 note M3 sold for £1019.

That was a rough estimate based on limited research. As you can see, when others post their individual pricing experience, you'll have a better picture.korglifeguy wrote:are you sure thats right without the moss board?
£640 + 20% is £768. thats the bottom end of your uk estimate.
