I'm slowly collecting a bunch of nice micro synths on my iPhone/iPad. Have Kaos and MS20 and 2 versions of the electribe, plus non-korg titles like sunrizer and alchemy.
Just picked up the i-platform version of Native Instuments Maschine -- iMaschine (lotsa thought went into that name, no doubt) for iPhone, but which also runs OK on iPad so far (1st day).
Very fast and responsive touch that is missing from many other pad-style interfaces on iPad/Phone that I've tried.
And....
wait for it.....
$4.99
Wow.
Plus add-in kits and samples $0.99 to $2.99.
i-version of current software for 1-2% of original?
Oohhh, yeah.... chick-a-chick-ah, chick-a-chick-aaahhhhhh.

One of my favorite iPad synth apps is Synthtronica:

I love the way it sounds, and it's only $4.99!
(Note: I don't work for Leisuresonic; I'm just a fan of their app.)
