Re:
Global Velocity didn't fix the problem. I heard that when service changes the keybed, they will update the velocity compensation setting for the new keyped. Service said that it is only a recommendation from Korg, but not necessary.
Service said that "please bring your kronos hera, and we will make the setting back to the original". They said that it's a secret how to make the change.
Does anybody know how to set the velocity setting back to the original??

Finalized fix!
I changed the velocity-profile back to the original, and I found it the best answer to the problem. There is no reason to use the velocity profile recommended by Korg, because the touch will be insensitive.
Please contact Korg service to make the change back to the original setting!

When I got my keybed replaced, they said 1.5.2 was an unofficial version not to be released to the public, and has nothing to do with the new keybeds.McHale wrote:What version of the OS is installed. If it's not 1.5.2, make sure they install AND CONFIGURE 1.5.2 for the new keybed.

I also noticed that the new keybed was softer. I changed the key velocity to 5 (I think) and it works just fine now...

They are idiots. It was released SPECIFICALLY for the new keybed. They are either too stupid or too lazy to install it. I hope you have another service center nearby because I would never do business with someone that told me that when I know better.mathieumaes wrote:When I got my keybed replaced, they said 1.5.2 was an unofficial version not to be released to the public, and has nothing to do with the new keybeds.McHale wrote:What version of the OS is installed. keybed replacement
I was told today by Korg that there is no longer a keybed replacement but rather just the contacts being replaced.

Oh! Just wait what those waiting (so long) for their keyboard replacement have to say when the Korg´s tech support tell them so.

The nearest service center is pretty far away and they seem to have a bad reputation on waiting time.McHale wrote: They are idiots. It was released SPECIFICALLY for the new keybed. When I said I couldn't miss my keyboard for more then 2 weeks, the keybed was replaced in the store by the Korg representative. He told me that the 1.5.2 was not meant to be released publicly...

As stated, I wouldnt want to be the one to be there to say all that people who has a faulty RH3 keybed waiting for a promised replacement, that from now on, the keybed will not be replaced, but only the conectors.mathieumaes wrote: The nearest service center is pretty far away and they seem to have a bad reputation on waiting time.

If you mean (that they meant), 1.5.2 was not to be given to the general public for everybody to upgrade their keyboards, that is correct. It even states it in the service manual that it's not to be shared with the public and it will never be downloadable from the website. BUT, it was definitely supposed to be installed as part of the keybed replacement.mathieumaes wrote:The nearest service center is pretty far away and they seem to have a bad reputation on waiting time.

Man, when I said a couple months ago that the keybed replacement was for a limited time only, I got JUMPED on. Looks like my source was correct.Ten2One wrote:I was told today by Korg that there is no longer a keybed replacement but rather just the contacts being replaced.

Re: keybed replacement
Well then Korg USA needs to stop lying directly to their customers. I have dealt with this POS for almost a year now. This is the absolute worst keyboard ownership experience I have ever had.McHale wrote:Man, when I said a couple months ago that the keybed replacement was for a limited time only, I got JUMPED on. Furthermore, how are new contacts going to fix this mess:

mine is very different and has even spacings and heights.
Why don't you return the kronos (that sounds fair because your k88 wasn't repaired within a year)?
Then you could buy a new one somewhere in september (considering that it has the new keyboard) and check the new keyboard out in the store if the key-spacing is to your liking.
