Transfer loops, samples to triton classic pro x

Post by manitari »

Well my question is simple! and hope this answer is too.

How can I transfer drum loops for example that I have stored them in my pc in wav format to play them in triton through sequencer or solo etc.

Tech Specs:

Triton PRO X
2 extra EXB
floppy
no SCSI

thank you in advance

You can't load audio files into the Triton Classic sequencer. You can load them into the Triton as samples, and then map the files as you wish. However, with just a floppy drive... that's not a good option.

How big are the wav files?

a simple 2 bar or 4 bar loop of dub drums is approx 300-500kb so I could begin with a floppy

Not samples. You could record them in the Triton pretty easily though, from sampling mode. But you still have to save them to somewhere - if you don't have a floppy, you have to re-record them everytime you turn on the Triton.
