kp3 editor question

Hi all,
I got a new kp3. I have a desktop running XP.
I want to install the 2.0 update for the kp3. Do I need to install Korg usb drivers first?
What if I already have Korg usb drivers installed from my Nanopad?

The 2.0 update is only compatible with the newest kp3 editor. But the newest editor is not for Windows XP.

If I have Sound Forge for sample rate conversion from 44.1 to 48 and a card reader to copy samples to, can I do without the editor at all?

N, jefe, the KP3 editor 2.0 works well on XP. My pc is under XP, with 2.0 editor and the KP3 is with V2.0 too
